The Pentair Filtrix Standard offers effective protection against legionella bacteria, which can form in water pipes and cause the dangerous Legionnaires' disease. Specially designed for use at hot water taps, this filter removes bacteria from finely atomized water droplets that pose a risk when inhaled.
This hand shower looks like a regular designer hand shower, but contains a unique, replaceable membrane filter module with capillary microfiltration membranes. The porous wall of these membranes acts like an extremely fine sieve and allows water molecules to pass through unhindered, while micro-organisms and unwanted particles are retained.
